course programme:

0800 - 0830: meeting time
0830 - 0900: talk by captains
0900 - 0940: travel to MacRitchie
0940 - 1015: settling down + briefing
1015 - 1115: water programme*
1115 - 1145: pack up

*water programme:
20 min: settle boat configuration, row around the bay and teach basic strokes
5 min: teach turning (clockwise, anticlockwise etc)
25 min: mini race across the bay (this involves sprinting in pairs from the outer bay to the last lamppost/pavilion. boats will line up at the outer bay)
10 min: row around and stretch

*those not involved at canoe course will continue study session at canteen after carrying out boats, until trng time.
