team, it's only 26 more days to go. we've to give our ALL-OUT effort, training towards nationals. all the way.

this is what mr yong wants to say to the team:

we got whacked at the national junior kayaking and MR500... for the a div guys, we've few seniors and our juniors are very new. for a div girls, we had a strong squad to start off with but ran into prob. for b div guys, we lacked both quantity and quality. for b div girls, the disallowing of IP3s was a big blow. in spite of the odds, we took a big step towards the timing target set after that race. our seniors are showing resilience and our juniors are taking big leaps. but have we done our best? NO. always believe that we can do more. 1 more month can make a big difference. in 2001, i started partnering a reserve 1 month before national canoeing championships and we came in 3rd, only behind the national team and nat sch T2 champ. it's not about how fast you are, but how much heart you have. give every drop of your blood in every stroke in trng, row with your heart and your soul and go the distance always, not only in a race but in life. do it in the most unselfish way. be the one to give the most.

we're afraid of no one except for the weak and selfish person inside us. lose that person and replace by the one with the right attitude, hunger to win, passion to the best, foresight and resoursefulness.

-hope you all reflect on how far we've come together as a team, and how you want to continue trng from here. every drop of blood, heart and soul, go the distance.
