Training Guidelines

Strength: it can be trained, determines the amount of force when pulling in water

Speed: cannot be trained, only improved, determined by muscle ability

Power = speed x strength, amount of work input, divided by time to give the rate of efficiency

Technique: boat, body, paddle and mind control, it determines the efficiency and whether the work output and match the work input of the body

Energy level: aerobic and anaerobic fitness
Cardio: body's vO2 max, how much oxygen the muscles can absorb

Major muscles in canoeing are the abs and the back, leg and other muscle groups are for support of the main muscles

Working on fitness:-
General fitness: How prone are you to injuries?
Medical fitness: How prone are you to falling sick?
Mental fitness: The ability to maintain focused when rowing, as well as in studies

Currenty, our land trainings are focused on strength and water on speed.
Now, reverse and do speed on land and strength in water.
